Wallend-Air has been making kites in its factory for more than 10 years now and we have managed to keep power kiting alive in Cape Town. This year we have been working on some smaller power kites to compete with the Chinese low cost imports. This has been quite a challenge, but we have managed to come up with what we call the Rainbow, a two line, 1.3m, little ,100% fun power kite that is made of 100% South African materials.
he Rainbow flies in winds from 10 – 20km, has a set of 20m x90kg flying lines, complete with Yoyo, handles and bag.
It is suited for younger, and first time fun kite flyers, that want to feel the pull of a small power kite.
